DANI CHAMORRO

Dani Chamorro is a British artist living in London. They studied Fine Art Mixed Media at the University of Westminster.

They primarily work in sculpture and installation that focuses on their interests in the relationships between the body and mind, objects and surroundings. The complexities of identity like gender, nationality, disability and ethnicity are aspects that they explore for themselves and relate to the world. Experimenting with different mediums, media and materials is crucial to their practise. Chamorro creates immersive spaces that include a variety of objects that then question the function and meaning. By challenging the senses, they can explore how people respond/react physically and emotionally to certain stimulants in their work and what that means for them.
